The Mennen Arena is located minutes from the Westin Governor Morris hotel on East Hanover Avenue.
The William G. Mennen Sports Arena, fondly referred to as the Mennen Arena, hosts concerts, ice events and indoor football.
The Arena was built in 1973 on land donated by the Mennen Company. The Arena has gone through a couple of growth spurts over the years. Since starting out as one indoor ice arena, two additional ice arenas were added; one in 1986 and the most recent addition was in 2002. The Mennen Arena is part of and maintained by the Morris County Park Commission.
For use during the summer months, the ice is removed and the Mennen Arena is utilized by local events like the Shrine Circus and indoor football team New Jersey Revolution of the Continental Football League.
The Morris Lion Football Club, the local rugby team, uses the field outside of the Mennen Arena.
Most recently, the Mennen Arena hosted the Eastern Synchronized Sectional Championships, truly a sight to see with over 2,500 skaters.
